Mission

Empowering People Transforming Lives

Our mission is to empower you to live your best life, free from tech addiction.

Technology was designed to enhance human lives, but somewhere along the way, it’s become a trap for millions. That’s why we’re here: to help reclaim your life.
a rapidly growing problem

Over 80 million people in the U.S

— 1 in 4 individuals — grapple with at least one form of tech addiction, impacting health, productivity, and human connection.

To us: if technology gets in the way of a productive, healthy life, it’s a problem worth solving.

Our solution

Integrative Therapeutic Coaching (ITC)

We believe the best way to overcome tech addiction is together. That’s why our approach centers on group-based coaching. Group settings not only enhance effectiveness but also make recovery more accessible.

ITC combines proven methodologies — from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to mindfulness — with forward-looking coaching strategies. We take the best of what is on offer, and craft tailored programs to increase your chance of success.

Meet our Chief Clinical Officer

James Sherer, MD
Board-Certified Addiction Psychiatrist

Dr. James Sherer is a licensed, practicing psychiatrist with triple board certifications in psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, and addiction medicine. After completing medical school and his psychiatry residency at Rutgers—where he served as chief resident—he pursued an addiction psychiatry fellowship at NYU. Currently an assistant professor of psychiatry, Dr. Sherer has published multiple peer-reviewed papers and co-edited the textbook Technological Addictions, published by the American Psychiatric Association. He specializes in treating addictions to video games, social media, and online porn, and his expertise has been featured in The Philadelphia Inquirer and on MSNBC. Driven by his belief that everyone deserves a life free from technological dependence, Dr. Sherer helped develop Integrative Therapeutic Coaching (ITC) to make recovery accessible to as many people as possible.

The Team

Our story, like our mission, is personal. One of our founders has firsthand experience overcoming tech addiction, while another’s journey as an addiction psychiatrist was inspired by witnessing its impact on their own family. A third founder’s recovery from a traumatic brain injury deepened their understanding of neural plasticity and behavioral change.

Together, we blend our deeply personal experiences with professional expertise to develop a program that’s as impactful as it is human. We are a team of clinicians, researchers, technologists (ironically), and builders tackling tech addiction.
